Project 365, Week 42, Days 291-297

October 18 - 24, 2010

The first three cards are serial killers or mass murderers if you wish, Fish, DeSalvo, and Manson.
The next four ATC's are kind of humorous adventures of the The Birdie. I called this series New Aesop Fables as there is a morale on the back of each card.

Project 365, Week 41, Days 284-290

October 11 - 17, 2010

In the Criminals of the World Series we have Pot Pol of Cambodia, and keeping him company is none other than Hitler himself. Next is Pope Innocent IV (yeah right) who in 1184 established The Office of the Inquisition. Appropriately, next is Maurice Strong (thanks Canada), the originator of the Global Warming hoax and con that will cost the world plenty. He was at the founding of the United Nations Environmental Programme and together with his disciples, Al Gore included, are making billions on the global warming hoax. He is also the major proponent of One World Government, One World Currency, and One World Bank. The couple of Hitlers next were actually prepared at a request of the President of George's Fan Club. The first picture of Hitler is at the moment when he was informed that Germany is not winning anything and the second picture shows him still trying to convince the world that Germans are winning after he has learned the truth. Rounding this bunch is Leonid Brezhnev who ordered the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia and later the invasion of Afghanistan.

Project 365, Week 40, Days 277-283

October 4 - 10, 2010

As we continue with the Criminals of the World Series we have that rascal Kim-Il-Jong, Chief of the North Korean Communist Party oops, Korean Democratic Workers Party and Uncle Ho-Chi-Minh of North Vietnam. To help us solve their crimes we enlisted the help of none other than the famous Belgian Detective Hercules Poirot and more than famous Sherlock Holmes. Then there is the Prime Minister and sometimes President of Greece. Since they abolished monarchy nobody knows who is who in Greece hence their problems. Next is Prime Minister of Japan Tojo who ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor for which and the other atrocities he was hung by the allies after the war. The last but not the least is Josef Visarionovich aka Stalin. He too looks like Trotskij but again it doesn't matter - they all look alike to me.

Project 365, Week 39, Days 270-276

September 27 - October 3, 2010

Here we have the continuation of the Sellf-Portrait Series, the first self-portrait is as self, next one is as Prime Minister of Spain Zapatero (he does not have a cigar because as a socialist he can't be caught smoking typically burgeois cigar but as you can see he resents that very much), as King of Sweden, and as Prince Charles again. Next is a 1900 steam locomotive series 310 manufactured by First Bohemian - Moravian Factory (later CKD) for Austrian Imperial and Royal Railways (how else do you translate kaisereichische und koniglische, K. u K. for short?).
Next is a new Criminals of the World Series. The first guys are the greatest criminals world has ever known - V.I. Lenin and Mao-Tse-Tung. Together they are responsible for millions upon millions of murders, torture and general mayhem. Yeah, you are right, Lenin looks little bit like Trotskij but it doesn't matter - same bunch.
