- I came to the United States from Czechoslovakia many moons ago. I'm a retired civil engineer. I worked in Northern Virginia in land development so people can have nice homes,places to work and shop, and a highway or two to get wherever they are going. now, I impersonate a painter and occassionally a printmaker.
